“Glass you’re allowed to touch” at Fornace Mian is a demonstration event by Design Denso that rediscovers glass as an everyday, sensory material. The project “Vuoto a restare”, a set of Murano glass utensils, comes to life in a unique performance: the act of eating is demonstrated and experienced, revealing its expressive and sensory potential.

Visitors are welcomed into an evocative space and invited to explore the objects up close, sharing a convivial moment with an aperitif.

Two venues, two ways to experience glass

“Glass you’re allowed to touch” is a travelling event held at two venues in two different formats: a demonstration at Fornace Mian in Murano and an experiential dinner at Versatile Work Club in Venice.

The 2025 programme

The demonstration at Fornace Mian was scheduled for Saturday 20 September 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This date refers to the edition described in this article.
