Magic Lagoon is a six-hour private tour connecting Murano, Burano and Torcello. Visit a Murano glass factory, discover Burano’s colourful houses and lace traditions, then explore Torcello’s history and quieter atmosphere. a welcome drink included only with the Venetian Boat is included on boarding; a bottle of wine can be booked as an extra to enjoy during the cruise.

The six hours include cruising and stops in Murano, Burano and Torcello. Exploring Torcello is part of the route; any monument admissions should be agreed separately, subject to opening times and conditions.

  1. Murano · the glassmakers

    After boarding and a welcome drink included only with the Venetian Boat, cruise to Murano. Visit a glass factory and watch the glassmakers up close as they shape glass and create their pieces.

  2. Burano · colourful houses and lace

    The second stop is Burano, with brightly coloured houses and shops displaying the island’s handmade lace. Time ashore introduces this textile tradition and allows a walk through the narrow streets and canals.

  3. Torcello · lagoon heritage

    Continue to Torcello for traces of the lagoon’s history and a quieter atmosphere. The Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta is one of the island’s landmarks. Interior visits and admissions should be agreed separately.

  4. Return to Venice

    Finish with a boat ride back to the agreed return point, within the overall six-hour duration.

What to bring

For island walks, we recommend comfortable shoes. Dress for the season and the breeze on the water; bring sunglasses and sun protection on sunny days.

Cancellation

Cancel at least 48 hours before the service starts for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a charge of 100% of the cost.

Cruising conditions and the route must be checked according to the weather and your chosen boat. In rain or cooler weather, ask us about the boat’s shelter and facilities. For particularly adverse conditions, contact us to check whether the service can operate.

How can I check boat accessibility?

Contact us before booking and describe your mobility needs and any aids you use. We will check the boat, boarding point and stops with you. Access conditions can differ between boats and itineraries.

Which visits are included in Magic Lagoon?

The route includes Murano with a glass factory visit and glassmaking demonstration, Burano with its colourful houses and lace tradition, and the island of Torcello. A welcome drink and private boat for six hours are included. A private guide, wine and any admissions not listed among the inclusions are considered separately.
